September Update

The Dinos have had a wonderful start to the school year and we are excited for more weeks to come! We have made new friends, learned the classroom rules and know our daily schedule.

The Dinos even earned their first class wide reward.  We worked together towards the goal of filling up the pom pom jar by earning pom poms.   Some ways the children earned pom poms were by following directions, sitting on the rug, walking inside the classroom, etc.
We celebrated with a dance party on Wednesday September 19!

Burlington Public Schools worked hard over the summer to update and launch new school websites.  If you would like to check them out, the links are below!

Welcome

Welcome!

Welcome to the Dynamic Dinos!

Thank you for checking out the blog.  I am very excited for this school year to begin and am looking forward to meeting all of you.  My email is capruzzese@bpsk12.org if you have any questions before the first day of school or any time throughout the year you can always email me.  I will be sure to get back to you in a timely manner.

I will be updating this blog on a bi-weekly basis with the activities we are doing in the classroom You can use this blog to help discuss your child's day.  For the first couple of weeks we will be completing getting to know you activities and some informal assessments to see what skills your child has.

Open house is on Wednesday September 5 from 10:00am - 10:30am.  At this time your child can get familiar with the classroom, their teachers, and their classmates.  I will also be discussing some information about pick up and drop off, communication between home and school, and the first day of school.  If you are unable to attend open house, please email me to let me know.

The first day of school is Thursday September 6.

On the first day, please send in an extra change of clothes for your child to keep in their cubby.  Please also attach your child's backpack tag to their backpack that they will be receiving at open house.  This is so that everyone can identify what classroom your child belongs in if they are greeted or helped off the bus by another teacher.

Snacks cannot contain peanuts or tree nuts.  We are a nut sensitive facility since there are children with severe peanut allergies.  Please be sure to send in a nut free snack so that your child will have something to eat during snack time.
